Locking a user in Google Drive is now a reality
Blocking a user in Google Drive is now a reality. Google recently announced the ability to block Google Drive users. The crux of the problem is that with Google Workspace collaboration tools, scammers often sent various spam messages. Users often encounter messages that someone has shared with them a file, which wrote about recharging a card, receiving a payment, or contained other fraudulent schemes for the capture of other people's funds. It's now possible to block such messages.
Remind that Google Workspace is a collection of services in the cloud that Google makes available to other groups of people or businesses. It has the ability to integrate your domain name with many Google services.
What's interesting is that when you choose to lock a user to Google Drive, it will prevent them from opening any files that users have previously shared. All of the files from the blocked account will be erased.
As an added benefit, blocked users will not be able to interact with the user in other Google services like Hangouts or Chat. Once a user is locked out of Google Drive, the perpetrator won't be able to annoy the user in Google's services. The business accounts will not have any privileges. This way all users, both business and private, will be affected.
The feature is promised to be available in the next couple of weeks.
